Studio Schrofer is seeking a 3D Visualisation & Virtual Reality Specialist to join our progressive design team in The Hague. Are you an initiator with a passion for living beautifully and for furniture? This position might be for you.
ABOUT YOU
Your role requires you to work closely with our design and engineering teams to create interactive, high-fidelity visualisations that that immerse our clients into our design world. This position requires a strong aesthetic sense which can be translated into 3D modelling, texturing, and rendering, with specific expertise in virtual reality (VR) and real-time visualisation platforms such as Unreal Engine. Your role is pivotal in bringing our furniture designs to life through immersive and interactive experiences. A strong portfolio demonstrating your experience in furniture scale and visualisation is essential.
Your main responsibilities are:
- To build interactive VR experiences that showcase our design process and finished products by using Unreal Engine, Unity, or comparable platforms.
- To keep up with industry trends in furniture design, 3D visualisation, AR, and VR to continually enhance our creative processes.
- To craft realistic textures and materials that capture the unique character and craftsmanship of each piece.
- To curate and maintain an evolving portfolio of projects that highlights your expertise in furniture visualisation and immersive experiences.
REQUIREMENTS
- Be a motivated self-starter and multitasker who works well in a collaborative environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in 3D Design, Computer Graphics, Interior Design, or a related field.
- Fluency in Unreal Engine and/or Unity.
- Proficiency in 3ds Max.
- A strong portfolio that demonstrates your work in 3D modelling, texturing, and rendering, ideally within furniture or interior design contexts.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a passion for innovative design and digital craftsmanship.
- Fluent in English (Dutch language skills is a plus point).
- Applicants must hold valid EU work permit.
