WORKING ENVIRONMENT
You get the opportunity to have your internship in a creative working environment at our office and showroom in the Centre of the Hague. We appreciate your creativity and ideas as a valuable add-on to our designs. You will be working in a small ambitious team.
YOUR PROFILE
We seek open-, team player- minded, curious, enthusiastic, design passionate students in furniture design to join as interns to work with our design team. If you possess an inquisitive mind, constructive hands, a communicative sketching ability, and a wicked tongue to articulate design issues and like a fast-paced intensive work experience.
Candidates with technical backgrounds have an advantage. We will teach you important professional design behaviour, organizational skills, ergonomics, expose you to the fascinating dynamics of the furniture industry, and offer you the opportunity to realize your designs for the world market.
This internship is offered for 4 months minimum.
WORK INCLUDES
- Working together and supporting the design team to optimize efficiencies and effectiveness in product development.
- Modeling / designing in 3D Studio Max and VR plugin.
- Technical solutions, realized in Solidworks.
- Creating presentations.
- Researching the furniture and interior design market.
- Working with various manufacturing processes.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Required: Photoshop, a 3D CAD program
- Desired: 3d Studio Max, SolidWorks
- Languages: Dutch, English minimum
